Hello Bovine Ska and Rocksteady Listeners!

We began this Bovine Ska, our last of 2016, with a set of tunes from four of the finest LPs ever produced by the late great Leslie Kong. We followed that with a set of Coxsone Dodd produced reggae, a mento set and a long set of rare ska before launching into a spotlight on George Hargraves’ FIRE LABEL! This spotlight features top ska, calypso, and rocksteady from artists like Jimmy Sinclair, The Three Tops, King Bravo, and Roy Shirley!
