Hello Howdy Bovine Ska and Rocksteady Listeners!

We sadly start off this week’s Bovine Ska and Rocksteady with a tribute to dancehall legend, Frankie Paul, who passed away last week at the very young age of 52 years old. Paul had been hospitalized with kidney issues for some time. We wish Frankie’s family and friends our deepest condolences.

For our label spotlight this week, we dug through the crates and found many great cuts of the rocksteady and reggae variety from George “Clive” Murphy’s TENNORS LABEL. Being that it’s Murphy’s label, you would imagine tons of killer tunes from his band, The Tennors, but also amazing sounds from Eric Monty Morris, The Kingstonians, Roman Stewart and more!
