Hello Bovine Ska and Rocksteady Listeners!
We begin this week’s program by sending along the sad news that Carol Bruno, the beautiful soul who in 1984, co-founded the popular charitable festival, Reggae on the River, has passed away from cancer. We dedicate this week’s show to her memory. For our spotlight this week we focused on legendary engineer/producer, Syd Bucknor’s short-lived, Jamcan Label, which contains superbly arranged cuts from Slim Smith, The Melodians, BB Seaton, and many more. We send our most sincere respects to Carol Bruno’s husband, John and her family and friends. Thank you Carol for your charity and for spreading the music Love, Generoso and Lily
