Happy Thanksgiving Bovine Ska and Rocksteady Friends!

We wish you all good health and peace on this Thanksgiving. For our celebration of the foodiest of holidays this year, we took a look at some of the items that you can find on a breakfast or dinner plate in Jamaica, and as we discussed these tasty traditional items, we of course played ska, rocksteady, and reggae cuts about these meals like Pat Rhoden’s and Winston Groovy’s 1971 track, “Samething For Breakfast,” and The Gaylads’ 1966 gem for Coxsone, “Dinner For Two,” and Jackie Edwards, “A Dinner For One,” just to name a few.
