Hello Bovine Ska and Rocksteady Listeners!

This past Monday was Lily’s birthday and even though we were knee deep in merriment, we still managed to pull some wild records for a jolly Generoso and Lily’s Bovine Ska and Rocksteady. One that features a spotlight of Hugh Madden’s short-lived but vital ELECTRO LABEL! Killer reggaes 1971-74 from The Cables, Bongo Herman, The In Crowd and many others. The Electro Label spotlight is midway through the show of course. We began this show with two sets of rare Jamaican rhythm and blues cuts that Lily loves so very much, followed by some naughty mento, and a long set of rocksteady prior to the label spotlight.
