Hello Bovine Ska and Rocksteady Listeners!

We are huge fans of Stranger Cole, a magnificent songwriter. singer, producer and friend to the Bovine Ska. A year or so ago, we spotlighted his W&C Label, but that was not enough, so this week we rounded up our singles to focus in on Wilburn Theodore Cole’s wonderful STRANGER SOUL COLE LABEL. This Cole label features great reggae cuts from The Mighty Diamonds. Basil Daley, Alvin Parkins, and of course Stranger and Gladdy. Also, in honor of the Soul Cole label, we have pulled a wonderful long set of Jamaican soul cuts from the late 1960s to end the show.
