Even more sad news to pass along this week. Just a few days after Pastor Dr. Norris Weir of the legendary vocal group, The Jamaicans, passed away, we received the upsetting news that Trevor McNaughton, a founding and last surviving member of The Melodians passed away on November 20th at the age of 77. Generoso was fortunate to have met Trevor on a few occasions over the years and found him to be an exceptionally talented vocalist and gentleman. We honored Trevor and the group he helped make famous on this week’s program by playing songs that Trevor wrote and sang lead on, but also by spotlighting the label that he formed with The Melodians, Ken Boothe and Delroy Wilson, The Links Label. We send our love and respects to Trevor’s family and friends at this sad time.
