Hello Bovine Ska and Rocksteady listeners!

We start off this week’s show on a sad note, as we are sure that all of you know by now that legendary guitarist and vocalist, Glen Campbell passed away last week at the age of 81. Both Lily and I are huge fans of Glen’s and in his honor we begin this week’s Bovine Ska with a long set of reggae covers of songs that Glen made famous. Rest in peace Glen. After a mento set and a pretty set of Jamaican soul, we went into our label spotlight, which this week is on artist/producer Jackie Brown’s TELEGRAPH LABEL (1972-76).
