Over the weekend, Lily and I were balancing so many crazy tasks, but still found time to put together a beast of a Bovine Ska for you. We will started off the show with two sets of rare early Jamaican rhythm and blues, including a birthday tribute to Eric Monty Morris, followed by a mento set that features a spectacular cut from an LP that we picked by Duke And His Jamaica Five. Our spotlight this week will be on Peter Austin and Kenneth Wilson’s fantastic rare reggae imprint, the Stud Label. Amazing reggae cuts on Stud from 1971-1978 that we know we make you forget this darn heat!
